ARAMARK Parks & Resorts Deploys PAR Springer-Miller Systems’ SMS|Enterprise as the CRM for National Park and Resort Properties

NEW HARTFORD, NY – JANUARY 5, 2006 – PAR Springer Miller Systems Inc. (SMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC) and the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems, is pleased to announce that ARAMARK Parks and Resorts, an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service, has chosen SMS|Enterprise to automate reservations management and Internet bookings for its National Park and resorts properties, including Lake Powell Resorts and Marina in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (Arizona and Utah); Zephyr Cove Resort & Marina in Lake Tahoe, Nevada; Shenandoah National Park in Virginia; Olympic National Park & Forest in Washington; Denali National Park and Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska. The Central Reservations office is in Phoenix, Arizona.

ARAMARK Parks and Resorts operates some of the most unique national treasures of the United States. The Parks offer visitors diverse lake and land activities and tours, including lodges, houseboats, powerboats, campsites and RV sites that are appreciated by millions of guests annually.

ARAMARK had previously deployed the SMS|Host Hospitality Management Systems’ integrated approach for Lake Powell to replace multiple existing systems that ran the property’s front office, central reservations and activity management needs as stand-alone applications. This included several optional modules as Multi-Property Management, Spa/ Recreation Scheduling, Ticket Management, Frequent Guest Tracking, Activities Management, Retail Point-of-Sale, and Internet Booking.

SMS|Enterprise will allow our Central Reservations Agents to create a complete customized Vacation Package, including Lodging and Recreation at any of our parks and resorts. The CRM capability will allow us to cater to return visitors and encourage them to try some of our other venues as well.”
